On stage at the Dallas Entrepreneurs Summit 2023 as I share the 4 pillars of gym member (our FitGrowth Matrix) to an audience of 100 entrepreneurs
Hey there! I'm Sean, a travel and digital addict in my late 30s. Between my two competing loves of seeing new things and creating new digital artforms made to persuade, I try make time to zoom out and build Social Ads Agency to get more client gyms and studios on board with our mission. What do we do at the agency? Our goal is to inspire owners like you, to grow their businesses to their full potential through smart, high, impact emotion marketing.
After college, I dove into the world of freelance copywriting, where I quickly made a name for myself by working with some health and travel ClickBank vendors. One memorable project was crafting the launch campaign for "Sciatica SOS”, a digital product that skyrocketed to the top of ClickBank's niche health solutions charts thanks to the story avatar I developed and the journey he walked through. It was a visual demo of the viewer’s own painful experience with sciatica, and it resulted in over a 50 gravity score on Clickbank (unheard of for niche products).
My words weren't just sales pitches...they were the turned my clients ideas into winners! 2 of my most loyal multi-year clients achieved platinum status, which is $20,000/month revenues minimum.
Writing copy takes a lot of mental horsepower, but is tremendously valuable. I still use these skills today in the agency.
I didn’t want to stop at just the words on the page. My love for technology and coding compelled me to take the next step and get serious about software engineering, where I mastered the React.js Front end Javascript stack.
I spent several years honing my craft and working at startups, eventually landing a position at Disney as a senior engineer. There, I was part of the team that developed "DBAAS" DataBase As A Service. Disney had 200,000 employees across the world and needed a solution to spin up new websites and databases in a way that always met their strict security policies. That’s what I was in charge of, on the front end.

At this point I felt I was good on both the persuasion and website development side of the digital equation. It was time to go into business for myself as a digital agency.
I left Disney to start Social Ads Agency. Gyms, personal trainers and fitness studios in various forms were my target market due to my background in writing sales copy for health and fitness. As it was a fully digital build-out, my laptop was a passport to see the world some more. I visited the historic war museums of Ho Chi Minh City, the Socialist architecture of Vientiane and the historic Temples across Thailand. Against the stresses of early agency life it was a nice way to explore and unwind.
In digital marketing, businesses that succeed tend to have something unique that separates them.
My answer to this for my agency, and my client gyms/fitness studios was the FitGrowth Marketing Matrix a four phase marketing system that transforms how gyms market their higher ticket classes personal training services. It includes everything from scripting and planning advertising viral videos to automating the handoff from leads to sales staff via phone call (instead of letting them pile up as emails that go cold). As head of the agency, I oversee our ad journeys from concept to final cut, click to sale.
What makes my job truly enjoyable is interacting with my client gym and studio owners. I've helped members increase their membership by 50% — within year one — through targeted social media campaigns and personalized email marketing to leads and past members. Talking to gym owners and understanding their vision is not work for me. It's fun, a mix of their vision combined by my FitGrowth Marketing Matrix that results in more leads and sales every month.
As I look to the future, I'm excited about continuing to blend creativity with technology to create viral winners for my gym and fitness studios that depend on us for continued growth. My journey so far has been about building new skills both in marketing and technology, and I'm eager to see where the next chapter takes me. Thank you for reading a bit about my life :)

If you're on the fence, a 15 minute phone call will clear up whether our marketing is right for you or not. There's no selling, we'll simply go over your current programs and what you might expect working for us. We try to make it easy to say yes by charging nothing until you already have new clients and members.
